9018 EQ & 1566 pre

Hello, I am actually looking for a 9018 EQ and another 1566 mic pre to make a pair. I hope this is the right forum to ask about it. I also have a couple old mono blocks (sorry no tubes) that I will get the numbers from and maybe we can do some swapping??? Thanks Doug

Not sure if you are interested, but there is a pro audio gear dealer in Michigan who actively promotes his dealings with 1566a preamps and the 436/438 compressor models. I've never purchased anything from him, but I have had him refurb some Altec gear - very nice!

Even if you are only looking for a swap, he is a good guy to know. I'd guess that 90% of the folks on these forums are into the Altec duplex speakers and/or home hifi. The tube era Altec pro audio electronics are not a common topic and I've found that any info or contacts are worthwhile. good luck in your search.
